This year, the District of Columbia celebrates its 38th Adoption Day Saturday. Back at Moultrie Courthouse this year, we’re celebrating and promoting the adoption of children from foster care. This special day will celebrate the new beginnings for both the children and their adoptive families.
Each year, many families participate in the celebration, and it serves as a reminder of the joy and hope that adoption brings to both children and parents.
